When will my kit ship?
This is a pre-order. Orders will be placed with the manufacturer once the deadline passes, and updates will follow.
What comes in the kit?
The kit includes the rails, lids, and hardware needed for the build. Other parts like the battery/ESC boxes are not included, but the files for them are freely available to 3D print yourself. [Link here]
What makes Donky different from an XR or GT?
Donky’s rails are much shorter, giving you a nimble, playful ride while still supporting a full-size BTG tire.
What battery setups fit?
The rear box supports up to 18s1p. With a split-pack design, you can fit up to 30s1p.
What controllers can I use?
The front lid has mounting for Thor 301, Thor 400, JetFleet F6, and MK8 Standard (non-Pro) controllers.
Are the rails in the pictures the same as what I’ll get?
The rails in the kit are the non-trussed/solid version (photos are reference only).
Is the BTG tire really compatible?
Yes, this platform has been tested with the TFL Thundercat and Burris 11.5x7. However, Burris 12x8 is not recommended.
